PM Narendra Modi flagged off the 'Run for Unity' on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary, being commemorated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. Modi walked along the Raj Path to India Gate after flagging off the run, which saw thousands participate. Modi paid floral tributes at Sardar Patel's statue on Parliament Street in the morning followed by an address to the 'Run for Unity' participants at Vijay Chowk.
