Singapore's Changi Airport is the best in the world for a record fourth time in 14 years at the prestigious World Airport Awards in Geneva. It has beaten competition from Incheon Airport in South Korea and Amsterdam Schiphol in the Netherlands, which finished second and third. The award is based on surveys conducted by international travel research and consultancy group Skytrax, who polled 1.21 crore passengers. The ranking considers a total of 39 services including check-in, arrival, transfer, shopping, security and immigration at 395 airports across the world.
The Changi airport offers free city tours and swimming pool, butterfly garden and cinema to all travellers having a stopover of 5 hours. It is also one of the first to introduce free WiFi zones. The Incheon Airport offers ice rick, golf course and a casino to its passengers.
