Apple's much-awaited iPad mini tablet is now public, with a bigger screen of 7.9” and a thinner frame. The new iPad mini Wi-Fi models will be available in black and slate or white and silver starting Friday, November 2.
The iPad Mini is half the size of the regular iPad but is slightly larger than the 7-inch tablets from Amazon.com Inc. It features FaceTime HD and iSight cameras and claims to offer up to 10 hours battery life. The dual-core A5 chip delivers responsive graphics and a fast, fluid Multi-Touch experience. It also features a front-facing FaceTime HD camera and a 5 megapixel iSight rear camera with advanced optics for still pictures and 1080p HD video.
The new iPad mini with Wi-Fi models will be available in black and slate or white and silver $329 for the 16GB model, $429 for the 32GB model and $529 for the 64GB model.
