Gmail has launched ‘Inbox’, its new technological version of a personal secretary. It picks flight schedules from your e-mail to give an alert with real-time information and can even tell you whether a service provider is open or not. Inbox makes it easy to focus on priorities by enabling you to add your Reminders, from picking up the ironed clothes to calling your wife. No matter what you need to remember, the inbox becomes a centralized place to track all the things you need. All your purchase receipts or bank statements are neatly put together so that you can review and swipe them out of the way.
For now, Google is offering this feature only on invitation. You can request firstname.lastname@example.org to get an invite for the new service. Often, important information is buried inside messages, and the most important tasks can slip through the cracks, especially when we’re working on our phones.
