Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL)’s latest midsize premium car Ciaz will be launched in the first week of October. Ciaz, to be available in both petrol and diesel, will compete with Honda City and Hyundai Verna, which cost arounz Rs 7.20 lakh - Rs 11.75 lakh. The petrol version will also be available in automatic transmission.
MSIL claims it to be one of the most fuel-efficient cars in its segment. While the diesel version would give around 26.21 kmpl, the petrol variant would give around 20.73 kmpl. The car would offer more legroom apart from rear AC vents, projector head-lamps, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
