Samsung has launched its latest smartphone Galaxy S5 priced at Re. 51,000 - Re. 53.000. It is to be available at Samsung retail stores and e-commerce sites from April 11. The company has also expanded its ‘wearable line’ with Galaxy Gear 2 - priced at Re. 21,900 and Galaxy Gear 2 Neo and Galaxy Gear Fit priced at Re. 15,900 each – to be available from the same date.
The Galaxy S 5 is designed to be effortlessly smart and simple to maximise consumer benefits by integrating superior hardware with enhanced smartphone usability and an iconic design. The new handset supports fast 3G speeds at 42Mbps and comes with an Octa-Core Processor, which can run all eight cores simultaneously. The new kid on the Samsung block boasts of an advanced camera, fast connectivity and better protection features. Its 16 megapixel camera has an enhanced menu and interface that lets the user take, edit and share photos effortlessly. Also, the new Selective Focus allows the users to focus on a specific area of an object while blurring out the background.
