Hyundai has launched it new car Xcent, built on the Grand i10 platform, taking the fight for the compact sedan to the next round. The new Xcent is Hyundai's first attempt in this segment.
The Xcent will replace the earlier Accent. The new Xcent's price will be announced just before its formal launch in March. It will be available in petrol and diesel engine options and manual and automatic transmission. The car claims to have features which are a first in this segment, like rear AC vents, smart key, rear parking camera, alloy wheels, auto folding mirrors and one-touch electric boot opening. Other features include dual airbags, ABS and steering-mounted control panel.
