Anand Choudhary of Katihar district in Bihar has left a fat pay package to return to his village for farming. Anand decided to return to Rampur village while researching on 'development of the poor' as part of his MBA at Lancaster University, London. In 2010, he had completed his MBA and started working on a highly-paid job but came back to Rampur to start mango farming. He planted mango seeds on 30 acres while on the rest, he plans to have a pond.
Anand, a large-hearted man, has also given financial help to poor kids who are good academic performers. He has announced a Rs 5100 scholarship for a child scoring the highest in class X in Hasanganj High School.
